A friendly campsite in Deux-Sèvres
At the edge of Lac d’Hautibus 800m away, accessible on foot, the 3* Au Lac d’Hautibus campsite overlooks the Argenton Valley, a NATURA 2000 classified site. A few kilometers from Bressuire and Saumur, the 3* Au Lac campsite d’Hautibus, offers stays in tent and motorhome pitches with or without electricity as well as rentals of mobile homes, chalets and unusual accommodation.
In the north of the Deux-Sèvres department, Argentonnay will surprise you with its diversity of tourist sites in the surrounding area as well as its steep and rocky landscapes. Lovers of visits and walks will be won over by this nature with its unsuspected treasures.
During the summer (July/August), take advantage of the services offered within the campsite : new swimming pool, sports tournaments, concerts, karaoke… without forgetting to take a break on the terrace of the bar for a friendly moment with friends or with family. The entire campsite team offers you a warm and family welcome so that you can have a good holiday in the Bocage des Deux-Sèvres.

In 2019, our company Bonnes Vacances, a tour operator for more than 10 years, becomes the owner of the campsite!
We welcome you to Camping 3★ Au Lac d’Hautibus and are keen to make it evolve every year.
In 2019 the sanitary facilities were refurbished, in 2020 and 2021, we are adding new accommodation and new services such as entertainment and an outdoor bar.
In 2022, the campsite will officially be upgraded to 3 stars !
For 2024, a new heated swimming pool is being created and will be open in July and August.

For summer 2024, a new heated outdoor swimming pool is being created ! A new friendly, fun and relaxing space inside the campsite, which will be open in July/August !

Swimming pool open in summer (July/August)
The campsite swimming pool will be open from July 1 to August 31, 2024.
- Every day from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for campsite customers with free access.
- Open to the outside public (subject to recruitment of a swimming supervisor)
from Tuesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on bracelet and swimming pool entrance at the campsite reception.
REMINDER : Mandatory swimwear. Bathing shorts prohibited.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. All children are under the supervision of parents or responsible adults.
Hautibus Lake
The Hautibus artificial lake was built in 1969 in the Ouère Valley, classified as a Natura 2000 site. Camping Au Lac d’Hautibus is bordered by Hautibus Lake. This 7-hectare lake at 500m is surrounded by woods and hills, sometimes steep, which allows you to go around it. It gives you access to wonderful elements of fauna and flora. Classified in the 2nd fish category, it allows you to fish all year round on a mandatory fishing license and a carp charter to be respected. Presence of carp, pike, cyprinids and “night carp” fishing authorized.
- Only vegetable baits are authorized at night. It is forbidden to transport live carp over 60 cm. Boat fishing is prohibited.
Fishermen will find easily accessible posts on the old beach and at the end of the lake (WC and picnic tables nearby).

• You can buy your fishing licenses by the day or by the week. €6 for children under 12, €13 for adults. Or €33 for a week pass.
The campsite is located in a natural and landscaped setting, allowing many walks or bike rides.
At the edge of the lake you can also take a canoe/kayak trip. In summer, the Association Détours dans l’eau offers to discover Argentonnay by taking a trip on the water. Or enjoy nature through hiking trails to explore, thanks to TERRA AVENTURA geo-coaching !

In the immediate vicinity, find the Le Commynes cinema and the restaurant Le Lac, a restaurant with traditional cuisine and a must to revive your taste buds !
After a good meal, find the discovery trail “In the footsteps of Uncle Georges” which takes part of the Hautibus lake path. (Circuit of 4.5 km, approximately 2 hours)

Wifi Access
Wi-Fi is free and accessible only in the bar/reception area of the campsite.
Games Room
Open permanently, you will have access to table football, table tennis, board games and a reading area. This room is also the meeting place for evening entertainment (karaoke, quizzes, evening concerts, etc.)
Laundromat
Washing machine and dryer are available for camping guests. The machines are used with tokens to be purchased at reception. Count 6€ for the washing machine and 5€ for the dryer. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
Grocery
Tourist brochures, local products (honey, oil, sweets, soap, beers...) and basic necessities are on sale directly at reception.
Accepted animals
Animals are accepted within the campsite, they are included in their taxes. The animal package is €2.50 per night.
Outdoor bar and ice cream
On site, find an outdoor bar to cool off and relax on the terrace. Cold drinks and ice creams can be enjoyed all summer long. Tourist brochures, local products and basic necessities are on sale at reception.
Shops nearby
Right next to the campsite, you will find a Carrefour contact, as well as a tobacco bar, bakery, press, restaurants and multiple shops.
Gas plancha rental
You can rent gas planchas on the campsite by the day or by the week. It is forbidden to use an individual charcoal or electric barbecue on the pitches.
Selective sorting
At the campsite, we are committed to the planet and we take responsibility with selective sorting! Suitable containers are at your disposal when leaving the campsite.
PMR Access
The campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is equipped with adapted sanitary facilities. As well as PRM-adapted accommodation.
The animations
The Au Lac d’Hautibus campsite offers organized entertainment for everyone; children, teenagers and adults. Animations and varied activities are offered to you throughout the summer in July/August and will punctuate your holidays for moments of relaxation and happiness.
Game room
Table football, ping-pong table and board games are available to young and old all summer long, in the games room.
Children's entertainment
In summer, activities are organized 3 mornings and 3 afternoons/week for 6-12 year olds: creative workshop, treasure hunt, sports tournaments and more.
Animated evenings
Karaoke, blind tests and concerts are organized once a week in summer to share good times with family or friends.
Playground
At the edge of the lake, find a playground for children while enjoying the exceptional setting of Lake Hautibus.
